The photo is by Glockoma and actually the vasculature of a porcine heart, not a human heart. The blood is replaced by a plastic substance and then put into a solution that dissolves the tissue. I couldn’t find a single post, on Tumblr or otherwise, with the right attribution. Let’s fix that.
